As of the time of me writing this I have 30 hours logged as Mei and I will tell you now, she loses this fight 7 times out of 10. Tracer can slip in and out of the ice beam and if her health is too low can simply use her recall to get away and heal up. On top of this, Tracer's guns are miles better than mei's icicle shot. If the only reason Tracer should lose this is if Mei get's a raw head shot (which is ridiculously hard to do) or if the Tracer allows herself to get frozen. Tracer has all the tools to escape, outrange, and ultimately kill mei.

This is a rather tough match up. But i think Mei actually has the advantage over Tracer. Mei can 1 shot a tracer with a head shot, and even though tracer has a blink, her blink is greatly reduced in distance while mei is slowing her. A good Mei can take advantage of Tracers rewind as well, scoring an easy headshot. IF a tracer can keep out of mei's Beam then the tracer has the advantage. Then it comes down too who can shoot and aim better.

[EN] Amazingly enough, Tracer takes the advantage. A good Tracer will always have at least one Blink charge, which will allow it to escape the attempted freezing from Mei, and can even combine this with Recall to confuse Mei positioning concept. Tracer is not so easy to freeze, and Mei will only do this if, for some reason, are flanking a flanker instead of being defensive. Tracer has all the possible ways to close out, although it isn't one of her favorite duels to keep, since her damage in the long distance is low by disperse too much and the secondary fire of Mei is very precise and have high damage. The question is: With each one fulfilling its original role and playing with equivalent skill, the advantage is Tracer's, while Mei would have to abandon some of her defensive position to get the advantage to herself.

Advantage Tracer IMO. Blinking resets the 'frozen' level, so she just needs to keep blinking before she is fully frozen. Also Tracer's guns are better than Mei's at medium range (instead of short range) distance, so Tracer can choose to keep some distance. Or Tracer can go for maximum confusion by blinking straight through Mei and getting behind her.

Frozen Tracers slip no streams. Ice Wall also cuts off Tracer's escape, something very rare. Mei can also Ice Block to nullify Tracer's ult or reset the 1v1.
