But if you're fighting a grouped team with a shielding Reinhardt, then D.Va can be a good way to break through. D.Va can defense matrix and then boost fly directly through the shield, causing pushback for Rein & his teammates. At that point D.Va is in Rein's face and can start shooting. Reinhardt either needs to turn his shield, or stop shielding, and that can allow D.Va's teammates to bring in some damage.
